Refund Policy
The refund process on CareLite app happens smoothly through the app itself, without any external interference from another party, and with no need to present any printed receipts, or documents.
After the provider approves the refund request, the refunded amount will be deducted from the provider’s balance and added to the user’s bank account, which was used to pay for the refunded item in the first place.
In case the provider refuses to scan the code or proceed, the user can click on “report” located below the QR refund code, and send a complaint with the issue, to get a direct response from our side after we sufficiently investigate the matter.
As the CareLite’s app is offering a wide range of medical services, medicines, and other related products (personal care and cosmetics), therefore, our Refund Policy differs according to multiple levels:
- - First, the availability of the refund option, which is determined, along with the allowed period of time for returning items, by the healthcare providers themselves.
- - Secondly, according to the type of the refunded item, as follows:
Medical Services:
The refund applies immediately on any paid medical service that the app user received and didn’t match the shown description of it on the app, or the healthcare provider didn’t present it adequately. The refund is applied whether before or after getting the service.
Medicines:
For the purchased medicines, the refund can be made on any type of medicine, for the reasons of exceeding the expiry date or not needing it anymore, as long as the medicine doesn’t need certain precautions in handling or storing, such as diabetes medicines or similar medicines, that is to prevent returning medicines that are unsuitable for the human consumption by another patient. The refund is applied before opening the medicine as it should be in its original case, sealed and unused, unless the customer discovers any irregular signs on the medicine after opening its package.
Personal Care Products::
Personal care and cosmetic products can be refunded except for products that can’t be returned due to hygienic concerns, or if the healthcare provider is not accepting the return of this type of products for the same concerns, or if it’s violating the provider’s policy.
